building my own snowspeeder

:-)
i'm still thinking about the lights...
i don't know if there is any space for the leds and cables..
so i have to build first the cockpit...and look then were to hide everything..

i build a fast half helmet for checking the size of the figures..
and i think they are large enough...

So that's positive :-)
Now the complete figure.

The cockpit is going slowly..i designed the buttons and made the layout..
Now i have to glue them and do a little layering for the 3d effect.

i also found some great plastics for the windows..but that is for the final.

Mmmmm... Maybe the pilot has a large enough 'cavity' to firmly insert the Arduino into .............

If it's big enough, you could shove all sorts of things up there .......sign1

i think i need al the space to get a skeleton inside the man..
Somehow 80gr paper is a little flimpsy..but with the lack of some better paper..
i have to make something to carry it.

And i know for sure that these 2 pilots will be the only ones build like this..
because DAMN those are dificult and packed with little stuff .....:-)..and that is really true.

installed the cocpit and to cut a lit off it because he was to large..

Have you considered making a full size cockpit! I know you could. A personal man cave, you get home from work, close the cockpit, and watch TV in your air conditioned Cockpit, put four wheels and make a Velomobile, you'd make a fortune off of it!!

My wife would hate that...
come home from work and go sit in a man coccon ......
a tv...airco...microwave incl a fridge with all in 1 ready meals...:-)

and working on the second pilot..
i still don't like this :-)
But somehow the folding gets better :-)
