Very nice! It's big and I personally like big models. Thanks for posting the link also, it is very helpful!:thumb:

Incredible work!

So how did you print them so big? Or are you printing the pieces on regular paper and stitching them together? If that's the case, I can't believe how seamless it looks!

Hi..
well use a very large inkjet printer a0
then it's easy i scale up the pdf (a4) -> a0

today i completed the 2 front boxes.

+1 on the foamcore suggestion. Don't use corrugated cardboard; it will warp when you glue paper to it, even if you just spot-glue it.

Are you planning on printing a second copy of the Falcon for adding the armor panels and other flat 3D details?

Well i found an other falcon which has great details but has a little less sharp lines.
http://starwars.pl/stuff_tf_modele_slawek.php (found it here on the forum)

i am trying to get that in the same scale as my falcon (parts).
And want to see if it is possible to use the panels and the sides.
i hope that it works for me, but i need to construct a test object.

Because of the size of my ship it would look a little flat without detailing everything.

The first air-vent is ready.....i think....hum...

i also tried on a piece of the other falcon, and it fits nice...
it's a little bigger then the original falcon but it looks nice.
Maybe tomorrow some armor panels..

a small update.

one turret is installed and is ready for installation on the main-hull.
but is very heavvy.

other things i did : the other 5 airvents.
and the turret-cockpit but it is large and i need to fill it up so it won't collapse, when the turrent is installed.

Ah i have a little question,

Does anyone have a inside picture (from the front without the window)
or a foldable inside of what's behind the black window.

Wow, you are really good at making those seams invisible. Especially with round shaped parts, which are a pain.

I don't do anything special.
i try to cut as clean as possible..
And use a lot of tape and glue for attaching the pieces together.
And when i miss a little and you see the white around the seams i touch it up with a little permanent Marker (black).
And until now it works great for me.

Not bad.. :)

Not perfect...

but for me Not bad..

I think the chair is to small but for now..
