BSG custom power sled

I decided to rebuild Revell-Fan's BSG Power Sled. I am me, so, I couldn't leave well enough alone. I repainted it, cut out the treads (because Rhaven Black set that standard), added the Landram tread cleats, made a passenger bench seat, and recessed the headlights. There are a few other different things I am planning. Till then, here it is.

IT IS ORANGE!!!:surprise::surprise::surprise:
Thank you for the nod on the tread. I like the bench seat and what all you are doing with it! I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

I thought IT WAS ORANGE!!! But I wasn't sure! Reminds me of the old tracked "Weasel"

That Weasel pre-dates my time in the arctic, but I recognize (and was issued) some of that mannequin's gear.

This is really coming together beautifully! I like how this is turning out! If possible, I would really like to see the new components that you have come up with, become a "conversion" kit?

These are beyond cool!! I really like the way you are doing the tracks. It makes the models Pop. Sticking some switches on that control panels, which could just be glued over the printed one, would really make that dashboard pop like "mad'!!! :)

Since you are making this at a larger scale, you can cut out black triangles for the toggle switches on the control panel. I would suggest raising all of the buttons and lights as well.

That is good advice. I have printed revised parts, to verify the light bar mod, and I might just address the center console. I think an instrument cluster is also in order.

I am compiling a sheet of the new and modified parts. Once the beta build is completed, I will send it off to a verification builder.

Tonino broke new ground with all the added layering and buttons and stuff on his Space Shuttle cockpit. Your scale is begging for the same enhancements! :)

He's not the first, but that model definitely set the bar into high orbit. :)
