I don't have many in progress build pictures, but there are a few. The first ones show the size of the 1/48th scale model on top of our washing machine lid. The finished model in the first picture I posted here was built by my partner in theis design, John Dell.
My copy of the model is only a bit farther along than this, with the wingtips added, and the nacelles started.

These last pictures are really awesome. You've created a whole scene that really recreates that era. It's more than a diorama, it seems very much "alive". Maybe because of the people, they sure were thinner back then!!
Seems like I'm really just stating the obvious but it is a beautiful plane and the design of the model is top notch.

After nearly six years, the first edition of the model is finally done and availble at Ecardmodels. Many Thanks to John Dell, this one is as much his as mine.

The latest version has been added to the collection, the C-75 version. The aircraft of both TWA and Pan Am were "drafted" into military service, but only the TWA aircraft were modified and repainted. "Commanche" represents one of them. Thanks again to John Dell for his great repaints and accessories.
