blue roofing foam

hi everyone
does any one know who in california sells blue or the pink foam none of the major home improvments stores like home depot or lowes sell it any more , and it 's kind of hard to find at costruction sites any more.

Matt: More than likely they do not have it in california due to their strict construction codes due to earthquake provisions. Also California frowns upon CFC's ( building styrofoam) , the whole EPA thingy.. Im pretty sure these are the reasons you cant find it their..

That's a good point about the building codes, but you still might find some, or get some ordered through a buiding material supply that specializes in supplies for the stucco workers. it's used a lot around here as a base between the framing and the chickenwire or lath.

It may not meet fire codes in Ca. anymore. If it doesn't meet fire codes, you can't use it for building insulation, hence no market. I haven't looked lately, but I think they still sell the brown foam with the foil on the sides. The foil is easily peeled off and the foam is a dense foam like the blue or pink so it can be worked the same way.

White Cap sell the foam but it is green. Not surre if you have a White Cap around you. The Depoy seel foam with foil on both side that is close but not the same as the pinik, blue, green foam. It is closer to surf board foam.
