Blackadder's Imperator Titan Build

Yeah, Painting the whole structure with Flat Black Primer was quite a chore. Not being ambidexterous I wore out my right index finger in the hours it took to completely cover the surface areas. Twice in fact as there were areas that needed a second coat.
This is not counting the areas that needed to be masked off that didn't require the Flat Black but required Flat Grey or Gold or Gloss Red.
There are about 100 subassembies that needed to be painted seperately also.

WOW!I've been following this thread on and off for a while now, and every time I see your latest posts, I am blown away by the amount of work you have put into this model.

I've decided to assemble this Titan to see where I am regarding painting.
I've already run into problems with the greaves as I painted over the penciled assembly remarks. Ha!
The images below show the gold clad statuary which I may or not use in the final construction.
Either way I'll make the removable as a option during display.

The gold clad statuary look AMAZING! I think that they are a great touch and should be included in the final piece.
