Hello friends!
Some time ago I found the piromodels website:
http://piromodel.fc2web.com/
The artist who runs this site is very creative and has made some nice Star Wars character papercrafts from the animated Clone Wars mini series which was aired shortly before Episode III premiered. They are fairly easy and really look like the cartoon caracters. I like his Yoda and the Vader helmet most. Unfortunately, his / her site is in Japanese or Korean (???) which means that I'm unable to read the text. However, while wildly clicking through the site using the try and error method I found something even more impressive: The artist turned almost every Stormtrooper and Clone Trooper variant into Lego versions and built them - with paper! These little figures are sooo CUTE that it was only a matter of time for me to make one of them. Moreover, the modular structure challenged me to follow his example and to make a few new ones myself. And since I am the biggest BSG fan in my home town (if not in the district I'm living) I decided to make a Lego Cylon.
At first I wondered how you could be able to build these tiny figures at that small size. Then I noticed that they are not the same scale as the original Lego figures. They are a bit bigger which makes sense because I doubt that a 1:1 scale version could be assembled so easily (anyone accepting the challenge  ?!). Well then, I took Boba Fett and the Shock Trooper as a basis and adapted the parts for the Cylon body step by step.
Here is Boba, still one arm and a leg missing (I told him his new ride was too expensive  !).
