Never heard of it, but if you make a box, and use some "Bendy Straws", you'll be more than halfway there. :)

I think that this may be something that you may have to scratch build.
If you decide to do such, please post a build thread.

*sigh*

All the paper/card models I found of the original Mac are not exactly accurate. Ok. Fine. They're crap. So I surfed for a couple of hours last night for dimensions, a 3d model, ANYTHING. I did find out that iFixit.com did a teardown of a Mac 128k for the 30th anniversary. So throwing sanity to the wind I emailed the iFixit customer service and promptly forgot about it.

I got a response five minutes later. No, really. Five minutes.

They still have the case.

They have the dimensions.

They made a web page (http://www.ifixit.com/Wiki/Macintosh_128K_Dimensions).

AND they're offering to get more dimensions as needed.

Wow. I know that I'm going to visit they're site more!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is COOL!!!
I am rather surprised as well that they got back to you so fast and was willing to give you the dimensions for such.
If you are thinking about designing the model, got for it!!! I am looking forward to seeing it!!!

The iFixit guys added the mouse and keyboard to the Mac chassis page. Steve, of Steve's Paper, has graciously agreed to do the 3d modeling and flattening for me since I have -999 experience level in those areas.

<shrug>

Maybe because Opus is too round and you couldn't get enough fleas to stick to the paper for Bill.

Remember I said I have -999 experience points on 3d modeling? I think I'm up to +10.

Full size model, double walled construction, a light kit for the monitor. Now all I have to do is design legs and feet, run it through Papakura and build it.

Looks good to me. Designing software is not easy to learn but once you get the hang of it, you will be hocked at what you can make. :)

I am glad to see that this thread is not dead! My daughter is a MAC fan. SO as a "gag" gift (once you are finished). I am going to make her one.

I finally figured out how to get Pepakura to make a specific part side to be the front/top. Since there were parts I had to "flip" on the interior and exterior PDFs I decided to redo all the PDFs. While I was at it I consolidated some files.
