My impression.
There are a lot more instructions in this kit, than in the other Modelik kits I have built.To bad that all the written ones only are in polish.
Paperquality seems to be the same standard of Modelik and others.
The print looks very good and the colors are crisp and nice.
A new thing is that there is color examples of all colors used in the kit.
For me thats a good thing :)
I can just take the kit with me to my color store, they scan the colors and makes me almost perfect match of each one!
This kit also contains over 1800 parts, and IMHO thats a lot of parts in a kit like this.
It has a high GMI rating , so I guess this is for the experienced builder.
So I'll have to wait a few years before I can start on this one :)

So as far as I can see it's out of reach :)

But....and there is a big but here! The models can be collected LOL
And if you take my advice, you'll just have to order them :)
 
I'm having the same thoughts now Russell!
Instead of collecting stamps or whatever people collect.....lets collect models :)

And you never know what comes to mind after this years major project!!
 
Johnny, you are a man after my own heart!
I had the same idea over a year ago!
Now, if I was to stack all of the models I have into one pile, I think it would be about 12 feet high!8)
Just today, I won 12 different models off of EBay!
I have to sneak most of my deliveries into the house so I don't have to hear my wife complain!:twisted:
Still, I enjoy collecting all I can!

LOL I can imagine you sneaking around with a stack of models under your arm!!
Lurking around da house to find the right moment to deliver undetected :)
 
The biggest problem that I have is that most models do not fit into the mailbox and I put a big box out there!:twisted:
The mail person will pull up to the back of the house and beep the horn for me to come out and get them!
As soon as we hear the horn, my wife says, "You bought more models didn't you?!"
I think she would rather I spend that money on her!
Don't get me wrong, I spend a lot of money on her but she thinks I should not spend any on myself!
Hah, fat chance! I love my models!
I just need to figure out how to stop the mail person from beeping the horn!:-D
and I do lurk through the house with the boxes under my arm tip toeing like Santa at Christmas!:grin:

Thankyou for taking the time to show off your new collection of models. It is almost like being at the store, being allowed to strip off the plastic wrap and look inside (which they never allow you to do at the store). I also value your opinions on the various models.

I seem to have a weakness for these card models that have too many parts. I like and admire the detail. The problem is that my attention span has trouble dealing with the time it takes to put all those parts together. I have admired your patience and skill in building some of these highly detailed models. I know these card models you have purchased will be much more than unbuilt booklets that take up space on a bookshelf or in a file box.

I have a question. You said:

Does this mean that you are having paints specially mixed to match your colors exactly. What kind of paints? What size of paint container do you have to purchase? What kind of store? Thanks again.

Hello Phil!

The colors I use are waterbased indoor color.
So I bring the kit with me, and the store has some kind of scanning device to get the color into the blender and I get 0,5 liter of any color I want :)
Since I'm colorblind it's impossible for me to mix colors myselves.
I guess every colorshop has that kind of device installed.
