Making time!

I have decided the build of the maintenance facility over again. This time, I am making internal formers for platform floor (starting with the ramp).

Here are the parts sheets.

The formers fit well and everything is going together nicely (thus far).

Well I guess it is time for another update and show what progress I have made.
So as with the ramp, I also made internal formers for the floor panels as well.


The panels are assembled


The panels are attached to the ramp.

Here is the left side panel.


The side panel is attached.

There will be a few more components added later on.

Continuing the build up of the right side panel.


As you see here, I decided to add a little extra greebling. I recessed the black sections and raised the red lights.

As you can see here, I added a bit more greebling. Again, I recessed the black panels and raised the red lights. I also raised the blue panel on top.

The only "extra" thing that I did with this component was raise the rivets.

I have started on the back section for now. I want to get that built up a bit more before I continue with other sections.


As you see, I recessed the panels. Granted, most people may not notice it, but every little detail counts.

So I have recently opened a "Photobucket" account. I am going to attempt to upload the photos from that and see how well it works (and how successful I am).

So I continued to work on the back section.

I worked a bit in the left side. I added extra detail by raising the side panels.

Here are a right side components.

I recessed the platform and scored the platform panels.

Returning to the back section.

I raised the "access panels".

With these components, I have added more details by raising the "access panels", recessing the "vents", the black panels and raised the red lights and the signs.
