AV-98 Ingram - Patlabor Gundam

It's not coming together, he's putting it together!! :mooner:

OK, I have just ran into my first problem with this model.
I am having a problem with parts 71 & 114 (the thumbs). So I am reaching out to everyone and anyone who has built this model. I need help with it. So please, ANY HELP will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

THANK YOU!!!

Rhaven,

Great project you're working on! :) Looks incredible! :Bravo: thumbsup The work with the hands portion is outstanding! I'm sure your son will enjoy it once you're done with it. :) Hope you finish it in time for X-mas!

Thank you for the compliment! I do not think that I will have the entire project finished before X-mas. I still have quite a bit of work to do. I am planning to build the patlabor maintenance facility for it as well. When it is finished, it (should) look (something) like this:

Here is another update. I have finished the lower part of the legs.

On to the upper part next.

I have decided that I am not going to use the stand that comes with the kit. Instead, I have decided to use the maintenance bay that Julius has made for it (as a display stand). Here is what it (should) look like once I am (COMPLETELY) finished.

I like your solution better!! The pdf is openable..but the page you wanted had a glitch, maybe with the layers..works fine for pdf or anything but opening! But ..I don't let little things like that stop me...if you run into something like this again..give a holler...may be I can help.. I have it broken down to individual pdf's...when opening page 9 to inkscape...it wanted to allocate 6,291,456 bytes to open...it crashed ;)

Thank you! The reason why I chose the maintenance bay to display the Patlabor robot is because I think that it looks better and adds another dimension to the model as a whole. I will start the maintenance bay once I start finish robot. I will be posting photos of the build (of course ;))

This really is a cool piece. Good therapy too! :)
