I have completely switched to Revell Aqua Colours because of the delicate nature of Bandai's plastic used with their Star Wars models. They cure pretty fast and look exactly like their enamel counterparts. They can be thinned with water and do not smell.

As you can tell from my paint racks, I use Vallejo Acrylics, and The Army Painter acrylics, almost exclusively. I have a couple old Tamiya Aqueous, and a few old Testors Model Master Acryl colors. I switched to acrylics almost 20 years ago.

Same with me, the LHS stocks AV Vallejo's complete line, so I buy them. The Army painter's paints just work beautifully on mini's, that I why I am buying them slowly.

And the AF-56A Cheyenne is done. fictional camouflage color scheme, done with Hi-Vis markings, in real service, it would have the Low-Vis markings. The kit came with both, but I liked the look of the Hi-Vis better.




I ended up gluing the rotors in place, only the main rotor is movable. The anti torque and pusher are glued, I also glued the gear in the landing position.

2 decals crumbled in the water, and one wrinkled on the kit. so if I have something bad to say about this kit, it's that thier decals are delicate.
