hello again folks i just bought a athearn rtr dash9 and the motor gets hot and on my dcc zepher it shorts out so any help will be greatful thank you zachary
Sounds like you're having the same problem I had with an AC4400. The motor was faulty, causing the light board to short and burn out. I replaced the motor with one from a BB F7 and it runs good now. I won't be in a hurry to buy more Athearn RTR locos.
