Due to some technical issue my build-thread of the Aston Martin has driftet of in the darkness of cyber-space :eek::cool:;);)

so I have to start all over. I have all pictures on my HD so here we go...
First of is the presentation. This is what I am building. It was intended for A4 but I enlarged it to A3, hopefully I dont get any fittingproblems.

Will, I am so sorry about that. I was following your thread. I did an extensive search and it is gone. It may have been deleted when we were hacked, as some threads were lost, it lost a fortune to recover the data. I can tell you I am very happy you are posting the build again, this is a great model, and your build thread is excellent. Thank You for reposting.

It helps other so much to see any problems uncovered and the technique you have used to decipher any poorly, or vague instructions. ;)

And on we go with the interior
The steeringwheel , dashboard and databoxes. I laminated the steeringwheel to get a 3D-effect.

I would lie to echo Zathros in apologizing for the loss of this thread. we did loose quite a bit. I am glad that you still have the original photos and are reposting this thread.

I have to say that the detail that you are putting into this model is SPECTACULAR!

You have done a fantastic job. When you can post a picture that big, and the model still looks excellent, what more can be said. :)

The wheel-knobs, made of rolled paper and toothpick. I should have put a ruler for comparison, but i forgot...:):)

The spokes and inner-rims, the spokes needs to be bent in a special way to get the curve, hopefully the pictures shows that. :)

Finished set of wheels. I hade to cut the outer rings of the wheel to be able to bend them properly.

You're into the hard part and succeeding!! I have been using Liquid Electrical Tape for wheels, it works great, and you can build it up with a normal paint brush. Looks like a real wheel. works excellently on electronics, and waterproofing the back of switches, like the ones over our half a dozen aquariums.

I believe this is the nicest build of this model I have ever seen. Superb craftsmanship. It's a pleasure to see the progression. :)
