Thank you everyone, got the SRBs assembled today (getting the hang of these after building 2 for the shuttle and 1 for the 1st stage of Ares 1X).

I don't like to use petals to attach tubes, but you sure seem to know how to use them effectively. Well done!!

Worked on the Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage (ICPS) over the weekend (and earlier in this week), identical to the Delta IV build I did a while back with the exception of the top.
You will achieve a better result if you cut off the flaps on the conical parts and assemble them using paper strips.

Those tabs are the bane of paper modeling. They should be cut off, and strips off paper glued to one section, fitted, then once aligned, glued. The paper tabs connected like that through the next piece off of the same plane of the parts, and it is virtually impossilgle to get a tight invisible seam.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll give the paper strips a try on the next one!
