So, instead of building or designing Halloween themed stuff, I am working on mine stuff. My father and brother just returned from Butte, MT with plenty of pictures, so here I am. My father saw the previous ore car, and said "You should make the two holer." So, here it is. You should figure out the importance this piece of equipment had deep in the mines. Interesting choice indeed. :) I haven't seen such a mine car before. Is it your design?

RB, I'm thinking that I'll practice designing a few more mine car (Explosives car, another ore car, pneumatic engine, pneumatic mucker, maybe a mine skip and a jack leg) before trying to do more fun subjects. I would like to tackle a head frame in 1:18 too.
R-F, This was a request from my father, and it is modeled after a car at the World Museum of Mining in Butte. The basic design appears to be fairly common in the American west.

So, I finished the alpha build. I made several adjustments to the plans. The next step with both this and the ore car will be transferring the files from .DXF to .PDF then texturing, which will be a learning curve.IMG_3150.JPGIMG_3152.JPG IMG_3155.JPG IMG_3158.JPG IMG_3162.JPG
