Another Day Railfanning the RLK&T

Was out walking along the RLK&T the other day with my borrowed digital camera and happened to catch a run through freight train lead by a Western Maryland F7A in their circus scheme. The locomotive is a Bachmann Plus unit.

Next was a F7B. This unit is a powered Bachmann Plus.

Next came a PRR 40’ Boxcar from Roundhouse.

 

[TomPM]

Then came a Bessemer & Lake Erie 50’ Double Door Box by Bev-Bel/Athearn.

Then there was a terrible banging sound as a battered Norfolk & Western gondola (Athearn) came lumbering by.

The next two cars by were Athearn 50’ Plug Door Boxcars. The first was a Reading

 

[TomPM]

and the second was a Bangor & Aroostock.

 

[TomPM]

Then along came another Bev-Bel/Athearn Lehigh Valley gondola.

 

[TomPM]

Now an Athearn Jersey Central 50’ Reefer came rolling by.

This was followed by two single dome tank cars from Mantua; a General Electric,

 

[TomPM]

and a Ethyl.

 

[TomPM]

Next came two 41’ Steel Boxcars also from Mantua. The first was a Seaboard Air Line,

and the second was a B&O Timer Saver.

 

[TomPM]

Now another Athearn gondola lettered from the L&N came through.

And bring up the rear was an Athearn B&O Bay-Window Caboose.

Lastly a parting shot.

I post this hoping it will inspire others. Just because your layout may not be finished you can still have fun and show off what you have.
