been too nice out to stay inside and build, but got a little of it done. first engine done and installed. at least the other 3 aren't cut open as the first.unless you want them to be that is. all those extra parts are gonna be used other places..

Thanks rhaven, just had a brainstorm ( and it really hurt ) , i have a few old motherboards sitting in a closet collecting dust and thought..hummm, all those diodes, resistors, and other things onthem . parts city........
hi all, been a while since i posted anything on the work so far. been nice out , so i had to do some outside work..... like i really wanted to
.... but i did get a lot more done and i am getting to the end soon. not getting as much free time to work on her as i like to, but thats how things go..hahaha. ok, here are the pic's of what i got done...ENJOY
body on..
there are 2 hatches, one white and one gray. i took the gray one to use as a template to cut the clear plastic i'm using for the white one.
now to cut out thw white one and glue in the clear "windows".

Ok everyone, been a lot going on around the homestead what with the nice weather and that i HAVE to go outside and do work now...... haven't had time to get much done to the x-wing. But i did do some here and there and i got her finished ..... i learned a lot more working on this one ( and some tips from you guys ) on how to work on my next endeavor.. got a lot of pic's to send you and here they are....

it was a real challenge to build for sure. had a lot of fun, next model i'm gonna try some tricks to make it stand out....i hope:smug:....
i wouldn't say that.. the main body had a twist in it after the glue dried, yes i did have weight on it, but once i got the skin glued on it streightened out..

thanks Zathros, yes it was a difficult model to do. i like giving myself a challenge to see what i can do. the next one looks just as difficult as this, but i need to have the bad sitting beside the good... as in bad guy-good guy....Great job!! A very difficult model.
