I Googled for the bridge, but all I got were some very long shots that weren't very clear.

Looooooooooong Bridge...

Here's a shot of the long trestle I think Chris asked about. I had to take the shot from about half a mile away, and even then had to splice two shots together...badly, I might add. When the snow melts, I'll see if I can get closer, and get better pictures. Right now, I suspect that even with 4WD, I'd be getting quite stuck.

Sadly, the builder's Plate did not indicate WHEN it was built.

On the same branchline, not more than a mile away. is a small underpass.

The reason I was intending to wait until summer for these shots? These pictures were taken at twilight, and the light will be much better during the summer.

There is a pedestrian section on the bridge but what an experience to be halfway across and a train comes by. You just stop and hang on to the railing with the wind and noise blasting you.
