Good morning all. I am going to be doing some painting on the layout, and don,t want to keep buying the cans of compressed air. What is a good inexpensive compressor, or any other ideas? I have seen tanks for filling bike tires that can be refilled not sure how to control the pressure. Thanks Paul

You can get what my neighbour calls a "pig". It is basically a tank without the compressor. Use the gas station compressor to fill it. You will need a regulator to regulate (
) the pressure coming out. Also having a moisture trap might not be such a bad idea.
However, you should be able to find a decent compressor witha 2 gallon tank at any Home Depot or similar store. You can also run handy tools for around the house with it - stapler, nail/brad gun, and so on.
