Moving on to the cockpit canopy.
Since I am making an open canopy, I prefer to start from the rear of the canopy and work my way forward. This way, everything falls into place nicely.
Here is the rear "anchor" piece of the canopy. I have raised the printed texture, in order to give it a more "life" like feel.
The rear "anchor" piece of the canopy is attached in place.
The rear (moveable) canopy is attached in the "open" position. The center canopy frame is attached in place.

The front "anchor" piece of the canopy is attached in place.
The front (moveable) canopy is attached in the "open" position.

Here is a "closeup" of the name plate and plane number. I used my mum's maiden sir name and her nickname (Scalp Hunter) as her call sign. Her day and month of birth (15th of January) are the registry numbers for the plane.
