This is a one-of-a-kind item at the Danbury Railway Museum--GCT-1--a double-ended crane. It was built specially for use in the tunnels of Grand Central Terminal.
The problem in photographing this crane was its length, which is 90 feet from the tip of one boom to the tip if the other. With other rolling on neighboring tracks, it is impossible to get back far enough and I did not use a wide-angle lens.
Some of you may know already, but I will let you guess the method I used for the shot.
