No, the whole piece is only made of paper, the putty on the wood keeps on the paper. I use it because it is cheap and it works well with it ;)

Like the head I did the rest of the figure. This looked at the beginning:

...and the following after the first grinding and spray paint:

...for the following grinding and adding the hands, it looked like the following:
3.jpg
...after the next filling and grinding:
4.jpg
...and this is already the current state:

...will be followed by a further grinding and add more details ;)

...yet, such a small thing, I made a gun. I did it according to this 3D model:
