This loco shed will go with the turntabe I am building for my Nn3 logging section.
So far I have used some 1/16th inch corrugated cardboard, cerealboard and a sheet of copy paper. It is based on a drawing in one of my railroad books.

Frank, the way to keep thin strips of cardboard straight is to cut them with three or four light strokes with the knife.
Mikey the the hole is for track and will cut the end sections out once the building is complete. I just left them in place to hold everything together through the construction.
I made the walls out of 110 cardstock.

Ok - First question of many :) :)

Is that hole in the floor for track - or will that be the top of the ash/oil pit???

I have mine designed....2 Ft long X 7" wide... Pics coming soon :) :)

The Climax will fit perfectly!!!!

Mikey - I would guess it is for track and possibly for an inspection pit. But you'd better dump the firebox OUTdoors... ;)

Robin - you're gonna have to work slower for this dummy to keep up with you!! :D :D :D :D

Nice one Mikey. I would love to be working in G scale if I only had the room.
I have added windows made from window screen mesh and plastic coffe can tops.

Did a bit more tonight. Roof and rafters. All made out of cerealboard.

Robin, I can see the printed side of the cereal board on some of the rafters, is the printed side on the top of the roof? If so, what do you paint over it with? Or will you use some thing to simulate roofing material? Looks good ,as always I don't see how you N/Z guys can work that small.

LOL Robin, your roof reads Green Acres, sort of :D .

The doors loook nice too... The diagonal scribing is perfect.

Here I am trying to make shingles out of card stock. Had trouble keeping the lines straight as I was watching football while doing this.
