3-d printed jupiter 2 and launch tower

requested that it be made and bought it. they come in glow in the dark blue, and silver.
 
Looks great Spaceagent! I would have a hard time choosing which color because I watched almost every episode, and always seen it in silver, but glow in the dark is just too kool. Now you need a small chariot, and landing pod to go with it.:D

Very cool! Looks like they have a pretty set up going with the jewellery as well. I was always interested in 3d printing. Thank you for sharing!
 
I am in the planning stages of a 3D Printer. I want to make a beefy one. I am thinking of going the sintered Metal dust route with a beefy ass laser, then stick it in a kiln to make it solid. I could make gears that way., just about anything, really. The video below demonstrates what I'd like, but not the machine I want, this one is big bucks!! The second video is what dreams are made of! :)


 
I had no idea they can "print" metal! I was looking into 3d printing a few years back and it was only plastic.
