1:1 Vanguard Satellite

Dunno what it is with this whole 1:1 streak I'm on, but it's fun! Decided to veer of from Wehrmacht militaria for a bit and get back to some spacecraft. This time around, I've got a model of Vanguard 1, the US response to Sputnik.

I'm almost done with the model, just have to finish up the solar panels

testbuild's done! Considering I didn't misplace any decimals (my scale seems to agree with me), the vanguard's a lot larger than I imagined!
