I recently have moved from O Scale to N Scale last year.
As from a previous post I have been looking at Model Power and Precision Craft engines. I don't own either at the present time.
The question I have is, What are the best engines to purchase?
I would like information from folks who have...
Has anyone read any reviews on the new Precision Craft model engines with sound?
Who is the parent company? How did they get started?
If they run and preform the way they seem to be set up, it would seem that they will be very good locos. They are pretty pricey!
Thanks for anyone's input.
I found the site I was looking for. I found it thrugh some links from modelrailroader.com and Trains.com. The offerings were for Proto Sound and I just assumed that they were MTH offerings. However the upcoming 2006 offerings of EMD 7A & &B with Proto Sound were from Precision Craft Models.

No! I'm leading you guys on a wild goose chase. I am trying to retrace my websites to come up with it.
Thanks for responding. I'' keep trying and post it when I find it.

The Bachman products except...
I also have a N guage Spectrum 2-8-0. It is a really great little horse. It will pull 8 cars up a a 1 inch grade in a foot with no problems. It works just as well at a slow crawl as it does with a full head of steam.
It can be seen on my thread on this board titled a wainter mountain layout...
I have built 4 layouts [0-27 and 1 N scale]. I start with a theme or a idea, then take a blank sheet or sheets of foam, decide how to incorporate tack into my idea, then draw it out on the foam, and then build the layout around the track drawing. I don't lay the track until everything else is...
