Back to the Normandy SR2 How is the progress going on the engine, i notice on the original meshes on the Normandy SR2 there is quite alot of editing on the engine to the wing. I'm glad someone like you with skills is tackling the Normandy SR2 into a paper model:cool:.

Hi Steve, Yep he has suggested scopa Paper Acrylic Sealer Spray but he say the glue may not stick to it. I got it anyway to try it out on finish model :thumb:. He is familiar with krylon preserve it & it one of the best product around.I want to try it out & see how good it is with glue ect...

Yeh same here in Australia , one art shop that i ask about the krylon preserve it, he has to get it imported from oversea but he say the shipping cost is more than the item but it looks like i have to wait about a week before i can try it out.

I'm sooo going to build this one day, later on when my skills have improved in paper model. Great job so far skoda :thumb:, lovin it so far cannot wait to come to a completion.

Thanks Zathros :thumb:, i didn't know very much about Dye based ink & based ink until i done some research that you mention in your post. I might buy a different printer but do some searching on which brand of printer to get the right ink. I'll give that a try & spray very very lightly on it ...

Hi Steve, i have one question on protecting the model , what do you recommend on protecting the ink from getting wet or ect. I tried clear varnish in spray but it smudge the ink :cry:.

Steve great progress on your Normandy ,love the formers by the look of them they must be quite easy to build from the pics. From your post awhile back you going to make another Normandy with LED's, can you make your Normandy SR2 larger version to store the recharge battery , switch , charger...

It must be bad were you almost located right near a hurricane Irene , I don't know how it felt if i was in one of those hurricane , earthquake or anything that mother nature happen but i'll be very terrified after that shock if it happened to me.

Yeh i notice how short it was & not very clearly where the main gun are located. I was searching on the web to see if there was a picture of those gun on the Normandy but no luck on that. I'll see if i can search some more info on where those main gun are located at & maybe someone else may find...
