    LEGO Luke X-Wing Pilot!

Hey Revell-Fan, that model was awesome! Thank you very much for the tips!:) The saber is definitely going to take the most time. The ink on the aluminum "paper" is not wiping off but that stuff is pretty thin - plus the pieces pulled apart easily with Elmer's glue. Back to work...

    LEGO Luke X-Wing Pilot!

Thanks Behzad! So I have ordered both colored transparent sheets and inkjet transparency paper. I'll try both to see which looks the best. Also got some "aluminum" inkjet paper to try as an alternative to the really thick card stock. It is very thin and has a shiny metal finish on both...

    En Guarde!

Well, I couldn't leave well enough alone, just not happy with the way it turned out - especially since the model is left handed instead of right and the markings on the uniform are not correct - plus the size distortion due to my color modifications and the sword is pointing out and down. So...

    Christmas Train

Thank you tatertot and jean-lucpicard. It is appreciated - especially since I am not a master builder like those who have done some of the models on this site - wow! The train is in the closet with the rest of the Christmas decorations - in a box of course. There is a Back To The Future...

    En Guarde!

Thanks bgt01, and that is a great idea. What if I print out the PDF, then scan it in, then modify it and print it - would that keep the same size?

    Christmas Train

Finished! Well, actually finished on Christmas Eve and I must say this was a really tough build. Being a beginner I was not entirely sure if some assemblies were missing tabs or not. I know there is a technique of not using tabs, but at this stage I prefer the tabs – especially when trying to...

    Christmas Train

So back at home and have now completed up to page 3 of the instructions. (These pictures were enhanced so they would not be so dark.) Coloring the edges. This hides any "cracking". Bottom frame assemblies completed. Nothing too hard here. Bottom frame completed On to page...

    Christmas Train

Thanks Cforrest900. I have used the same paper for all my builds except for Mjolinr - used Card Stock for that due to its size and the need for extra strength - it is a hammer after all. The glossy paper does "break" a little on the edges but a colored marker hides that pretty well.

    Ultraman and ultraseven

I managed to get the complete original Ultraman series on DVD. I had seen a few episodes as a kid so the DVD was a chance to see what happened (it was in Spanish when I saw it as a kid and I am not fluent in Spanish). Other than that I have never seen any of the other Ultraman series. I look...
