    Dry Chemical Research

Pleased to say document is now *COMPLETE*, at least to my satisfaction (revisions to be done as new information comes my way, of course). 130 dry chemicals are included. (( If you'd prefer the MS Word version, just pop me an email ))

    Dremel

You think ??? Mine has an adjustable speed, from 1 to 10, it worked fine for drilling at 3. Just need that smaller collet I guess, or the adapter. I have a $30 gift certificate for Rona burning a hole in my pocket, might have to pull it out this weekend.

    Telenetresearch

Part of TNR's logo; it's usually accompanied by the word telenetresearch inside of it, but with the way the silos went, the spider web is on one silo, the word TELENETRESEARCH is spelled vertically on the next silo over.

    Dremel

I have a Dremel rotary tool, it's really keen. I'm wondering though, can I use it with my small drill set (#54 - #80) ??? If so, what do I need to make it work with these small bits . . . . . .

    Telenetresearch

As part of the new diorama (Hutchinson KS) I'm creating for my cubicle at work (although, really, I was third-interviewed yesterday for a position at another company, so it may not end up at work), I finished installing the Telenetresearch plastic pellet facility this evening. Most of the...

    Dry Chemical Research

For anyone trying to figure out possible cargos for their covered hoppers, I'm working on a document that details a whackage of dry chemicals. Here's the latest version (I continue to add stuff to it every day, list currently includes 110 chemicals) . . . Dry Chemicals

    GAUX Boxcar Fleet

I wish !!! I don't have the capability to produce white decals at this time. I got Rail Graphics to do a run of 50 decals for me for my WONGGON Corp. gondolas (30 yellow 20 white); see other thread for pics of those units. On the same decal sheet I got them to add a couple of Gauge logos and...

    GAUX Boxcar Fleet

Finally took pictures of my recent additions to the Gauge Railcar Leasing boxcar fleet. I now have three 50-footers; one in my original Erickson paint scheme (named after my friend who created the tachometer logo); and the two newest ones in dark blue with white lettering and logo.

    Adhesives Errata

Any recommendations on what type of adhesive/glue to use to affix cardboard paper to plastic ??? I tried carpenter's glue last night, didn't work worth a darn.

    Wow!

A couple of the pics I took are in the photo section. The one kewl thing I did see was four flashing beacons on top of a grain elevator. It looked really good, I think I might have to try that myself.

    Station No. 3

What happens when your brother buys you a fire engine and a fire chief car for Christmas ??? And you have a DPM B. Moore Catalog model kit burning a hole in your project box ??? The answer is below, a kitbashed fire station. I'm planning on locating it in my Hutchinson diorama, so the...

    Calgary Supertrains

Just noticed, the service station in the top right is a Walthers structure (I finished it some time ago, it's going to be Triple X Tires on my layout). Amazing how frequently you can identify kits on layouts after you've been modeling for a while; they do tend to look all alike, don't they...

    Calgary Supertrains

Well, didn't really see anything new, and didn't find a single good deal. Oh well, maybe next time. I did take two pics of a new section from the Edmonton modeling group, a freeway and a Tim Hortons.

Seen any good structures to Model anywhere

I think this would look totally kewl as part of a downtown area.

    Calgary Supertrain Feb 14-15

Huh. If my wife and I could find jobs in the mountains we'd be there in a heartbeat. Speaking of which, I convinced my wife to go on a road trip with me down to Calgary. I'll be at the show on Sunday.

    Gauge Boxcar-World Tour '03

Kewl; at some point I should go through this whole thread and put together a webpage of everywhere the car has been. Someone remind me after year-end.

    Calgary Supertrain Feb 14-15

I'm still thinking about going on the Sunday. It's not bad of a drive (about three hours); I would've gone on Saturday with a "gang" or modelers, but we've got tix to a matinee of Jesus Christ Superstar (my wife's idea, not mine). Course, it being Valentine's Day, I doubt she woulda let me go...

Just curious, what camera are you using

My brother, father and I share a Kodak unit right now, a few years old. I'm pondering the Fujifilm A210 so my wife and I have a digital camera full-time. I know it's not the top of the line, but looks to be pretty good for the price ($265CDN).
