New forum: PEPAKURA DESIGN & BUILD

from what I have seen it is designed in a separate program then imported into pepakura. I may be wrong, but I don't believe that you can actually create in pepakura (don't quote me). I have seen several AutoCAD programs used along with google sketch up, and blender. I know there are some other...

    NCC-1701-F (STO)

no, it is a ship just from sto, it was the new enterprise that was made by the fans. people could submit their own models and the winning ship made it into the game. it was interesting to see that the winning ship and another were strikingly similar, yet until later the people did not know of...

    green metallic paper D-whale's Vorcha

will definitely say that zarthos has brought something that I have to alter my last statement a little bit. what I was talking about was the run of the mill phone, I completely forget to add the exceptions that are the pocket all in one computers we call smart phones. they do have a lot of stuff...

    green metallic paper D-whale's Vorcha

don't use a cellphone! the camera is those are absolutely horrendous. part of it is megapixels and cellphones have low count while cameras have a larger number. think of it like a TV, a standard TV has a certain number of pixels which is why they have a certain definition where as say a 4k TV...

the worst thing is when you have gotten very good with a camera, and then it die and have to get an new one and start over. although im glad I have a Kodak hd video camera that takes absolutely amazing picture (as long as the lighting is good) unfortunately it did not come with a manual (or a...

I honestly do not know how to do that but what I was saying is that with what is out there right now and time you could make something that would be close. or you could start from scratch, however I have little knowledge on that, so I would be unable to do that.... yet.

    NCC-1701-F (STO)

well she does share a slightly altered version of the nacelles of the sovereign class, albeit the oddy (odyssey nickname in sto) is up scaled. the "struts" that connect the nacelles to the engineering section are similar but different enough that modification would be necessary. and the front of...

alright then. I have a shopping trip in my future. I just downloaded my first model and that seems like a perfect time to try out the glue. thank you for the pointers.

    paper, paper, paper.

for my cardboard models I have been using hot glue for years to hold things together and I would not use anything else. my question was more towards him talking about using glue to harden parts and seeing which might be a better glue to use that would not affect the model adversely.

    paper, paper, paper.

hmm I think you just saved me a whole bunch for wasting paper on using all one type of paper on a project. thank you. I do defiantly have a shopping trip in my future. what would you recommend, modge podge or just normal crazy glue? would they have any effect on the actual model itself if...
