Finally had a little time to finish our the torso. I'm working on the arms now, legs next.

Thanks! This is first test build of the body base area. Made some refinements and am building it out again.

Here is what I have so far. I think I'll do a test build to check fit and proportion before I tackle the head and detail parts.

Here I have started pulling out shapes to make it a paper model.

So I found that the first image I captured was not the final version of Twiki I had made. That was a ver2, and I found a version 3 which had better dome and face shapes. This is th actual version that is on Thingiverse. This was as far as I took the sculpt as it's many boolean an remesh...

I have previously made a 3d printable design for Twiki from the Buck Rogers television show. I am going to attempt to make a paper version to share here. The 3d printable verse can be found at Thingiverse. Here is a picture of the 3d model I made with Blender.

Alrighty then, I'm game, where should I start a design/build thread?

I'll have a look at Twiki this weekend. Get a feel for a design strategy.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome and kind words! I'm kinda in flux with my home and workspace, so I've been struggling to keep on creating for a little while. It may seem I'm slow to respond and not really doing much, and that would be true! Lol! But once I get settled in I'll be cranking...

Thanks! I haven't thought of doing twiki in paper yet, that mesh I made for that sculpt was so high density, it would probably be easier to start from scratch. It works for 3d printers, but it's a mess, I have to admit.
