    Aquaparks in H0?

Your probably out of luck for a kit of a water slide. I did find this though it's a Water Flume (log ride on water). http://www.vernonriley.com/faller_pirates.htm Faller is probably your best shot at any kind of amusement park attraction. They make quite a few different models in that...

    Scratchbuilding is dead, I guess

I think it's more of the resources available. Scratch building isn't free even if you have the tools already. I think more and more people can refer to the internet for most of the research needs and that cuts down on the need to 'buy' the research in a magazine. There are those also with the...

    Star Trek Danube Class, RUBICON

I'm so very surprised no one has said anything. I guess I'm part of that group. I've been watching your build and it's really quite awesome. I'd perhaps would try to build the bigger one but that's just me. I like big models. I doff my shappo to you on a job well done.

    1/1 plastic GUNDAM

That must have took some real engineering to put that together and keep it standing. Perhaps weighted in the legs/feet (wind perhaps would knock it over?). Really quite cool though.

Intermodal fans! 16 miles of doublestack cars sitting idle in Montana.

I agree I wouldn't be happy to see all those 'empty' intermodel cars sitting there. It's a bit depressing and nearly littering in a way. Mainline trackage shouldn't be treated as a storage area. There should be something in the FRA to keep from happening. I can understand the railroads having to...

Intermodal fans! 16 miles of doublestack cars sitting idle in Montana.

I don't know.. Montana? seems like it's quite a ways from any port? There weren't cans on them so the cans are being used somewhere or stored as well. I don't know if it's a lack of traffic that has caused that or lack of rail traffic. In that the cans are being moved in some other way. Would...

O Prime head is done !!

How extremely cool... I went to your site looking for some Star Wars stuff and noticed you're working on Prime I couldn't be happier. You're truly extremely skilled.. Keep up the great work and the updates coming.

    Bend Track modules update

I surely agree with that too. If you ever move the layout to a new location or want to expand the layout or swap out a section for a different one. Modules are perfect for that. Can be pulled apart and rebuilt much easier then a solid benchworked layout. It's more work to build it that way but...

    Layout CAD Programs

No I didn't ;) .. The programs I was talking about are drawing programs.. You have shapes and lines you can work with instead of sections of track. It's more basic then a CAD.. easier to work with because you are just drawing instead of 'designing' per say. After the drawing is done then...

    Layout CAD Programs

I'm enjoying the discussion. I'm currently planning a layout myself. I think probably what is missing is the visualisation part. Looking at a track plan isn't just the track it's the structures and scenery as well. Sort of like painting a picture starting out from a line drawing. I think when...

    VF-1 Valkyrie

    USS Sulaco / Aliens

Looking bloody marvelous man.. Perhaps keeping an eye on the humidity level in your workspace. I know that can warp wood. Sealing the ends as well can perhaps resolve puckering as well. I would almost want to put it in a empty aquarium when not being worked on to keep the parts from picking up...

    World's Longest Layout

Sticker shock for those not in the hobby.. you paid what??? for this. I couldn't buy enough furniture to fill one floor of a warehouse for 12,000 4k would get me maybe 4 rooms. Stunning work though. Could take a bit to clean the track though hehe.

    VF-1 Valkyrie

Similar to Star Trek content. Paramount wanted to license everything trek and force websites that provided content from displaying it as they had the rights to it. Unfortunately there was a back lash and they halted that idea. More content encourages those that perhaps don't know the story to...

    helix

You can really use what ever you like as a roadbed so long as you have support to hold it. If you are building a helix / Grade you will need to be able to deflect it though. With a helix that brings about a different problem. You may want to adjust the helix as rotation places extra forces on...
