    Copying the tank sgouldn't be too difficult. Build a framework - Lego is great for this. Fill it with plasticene and level it off. Press the part you wish to copy into the plasticene to make a mold. Then fill the impression with a resin.

    American GK and later Walthers produced a version of this later. I think it used an Athearn SD9 frame and GE c trucks. You could also try a Tenshodo spud kit

    There's an old Revell kit you might find on eBay. Kibri make a modern push boat, p801 in the Walthers catalog, plus a fire boat that could be modified, p797.Sea Port Model Works,p819, looks very like the old Revell model

    You might want to check out this site http://www.truckstopmodels.com/ 10% discount on most things - see the ordering info. Very friendly people and if they don't stock it, it's either no good or unobtainable. FWIW the Jacobs kits are excellent, most of them fit straight onto a Herpa/Prmotex...

    Euroshuttle

    Sorry, I meant "Le Shuttle", the car train. After loading it seems that the train drops a few inches. I suppose it has something to do with balancing the load (air suspension?) but would understand it more easily if it was raised off bump stocks, like the suspension on the old Citroens.

    I frequently take the car on this and have noticed that after loading the shuttle is lowered before departing. Anyone know why?
