    the thread of discovery

very true zathros. i must also add that china is becoming a goldmine of astonishing specimens from multiple genres. 2014 was the year of new discoveries, but it looks like 2015 would be rivaling it. i would wait for more posters to say their own input before i post up another article.

    i'm officially insane

nah, i'm crazy. lol on a serious not, i have finished the external anatomy of the upper jaws. despite making quite a lot of these models. holding it's head in my hand is just something different. to think that what i'm holding is near exactly like the actual animal is kind of exciting. i should...

    i'm officially insane

hello everyone. i am making one hell of a announcement. i weighed my options and decided to do something crazy. not only is it a large model, i'm doing a 1: 1 scale paper model replica of one of my favorite dromaeosaur species. the theropod i'm doing is bambiraptor feinbergi. bambiraptor was a...

    retodus tuberculatus

yeah, unfortunately i don't have the means to do so as of now. money is tight and the cannon printer i have sucks. i would have to buy a better, more capable printer in order to released their plans. in the meantime, i do still keep them in a folder for when that time comes. also, i'm planning...

    retodus tuberculatus

thank you all. for this one, i used various colors of markers such as yellow, orange, tan, grey, and green as well as a few brown and white color pencil marks on certain scales. i really like haw the colors came out as this was a rather experimental process.

    my artwork

a 3 meter long prehistoric shark of the mid- cretaceous. this species of squalicorax is rather modestly sized with small, broad teeth and a fast, hydrodynamic design. it is likely that this creature is a high speed pursuit and/ scavenging. it was likely too small to be able to compete with...

    my artwork

By the requirements of Mt art teacher, we must print out two pictures of similar subjects, and cut and weave them into one image. We must then create a grid on a larger sheet of paper and draw the image onto it. I decided to use the eye of sauron and the eye of smug to combine into one eye. I...

    my artwork

:D it's just fancy fancy talk that states that the animal displayed in Jurassic world has a series of traits from animals of little relation and dissimilar evolutionary adaptions. anyway, it's been a while since i displayed another drawing here hasn't it? lets fix that, shall we? heres...

    the final build.

    mawsonia

yet another build from me. this time not a dinosaur or a pterosaur, but a fish! yep, my first time designing a fish, which is surprisingly harder then it looks, especially with a creature with this body shape. this is mawsonia. mawsonia is a massive ceolocanth. measuring 6 meters in length, it's...

    herrerasaurus

another one of my most recent biulds. at, 1: 48 scale, this herrerasaurus is about the same length as sinosaurus and has all it's bells and whistles. it is my seconded fully colored dinosaur i have thus far and all it requires not is the opposite arm. i also designed the model to be dynamic in...
