Well, my brother and I ended up cutting out a 6 foot length of pipe to locate the blockage and clean it. It was in a 45 degree bend and about 3 inches of compacted toilet paper. Must have hung up on the bend and over time just accumulated. *ICK* Thankfully, we put everything back together...

Well, Southern ran almost nothing but high hoods when it came to diesels in the early years. Most of their engines were high hoods until the merger. I guess manufacturers just got tired of making them for just a few roads. Michael
