Somebody with more knowldege correct me if I'm wrong, but the batteries I used were 550 mAh and the LEDs were 20 mA. So they should of ran about 25 hours per charge but ran 5 days because as the voltage dropped the current draw decreased. So how do people claim a battery will run an LED for a...

    Dollar Store Trailer Upgrades

They are "hot wheels" type. They are too small, the hubcaps are outside the tires, they are chrome, and they are single and wide. I have put some extra Athearn's wheels on in the past but they cost to much to buy seperate. Maybe I should try making a mold and casting some....hum...FRED just...

    I am in deep kimchee

id say the cpu is fried.when changing or fitting heatsinks, use heatsink compound or the `chewing gum' to get proper thermal conductivity. Also it must be seated properly,if it sits slightly up so that the two flat faces arent in perfect touch an amd will overheat and blow in seconds (intel...

What electronics do you want for your layout?

drop in circuit-so dependant on the pickups for voltage from track -very touchy tolley circuit on the other hand sounds very easy to implement -couple of 555's(or 556) timer,4017 decade counter, few diodes, caps, resistors and a 3a 2955 transister for a dc controller easy peasy

a 4/6 nor more cabled system seems the go here no crunchie locos on fold up for vertical sysytem-not to mention those pesky houses/towers etc etc etc to me keeping it flat seems the easiest in terms of layout fixtures ie no gluing houses down so they dont do `the dive' on foldup etc...

    pulley system for garage

just a thought-why not have a `hood' that when the layout is lifted up-it goes up inside it-even put a weatherproof type seal around the lip so it remains dustproof when stored the hood would be a permantent type fixture on the ceiling so could be built using ply or any othersuitable timber...
