The textures for the 46 Superflo are just about done now. Had to hunt for a few more sponsor logos. Pics tomorrow...

That's not as wacky as you may think? I've seen templates very similar to card models scaled up and used to make 1:1 scale Tumbler replicas. Starting to remap for the Superflo. :D

LOL! It's not got every detail. Minor details were left out for a simpler build. Though the model could be edited or detailed for larger scales. Not sure if my wife would allow a 1:1... :)

Nice model! What scale is that? I saved the pics for future mate. :) I googled the other night for most of the sponsors I saw on pics of the actual movie cars. Most of them are on my hard drive now. I have a 1:5 scale petrol RC car here. The original bodyshell got trashed last year. I wonder...

The resolution is fairly high but even then it's a little pixelated up close. I hope to be able to sharpen those up though after unfolding if need be. I know that name but if you post a few pics I may be able to help? Is it the same car?? Now you've mentioned the plastic kits I find myself...

Oh I do love to make things. I'm better at building with other materials though. Plastic, fiberglass, that kind of thing. I love card models but I have clumsy paws. :)

Exactly. Once it's all mapped then it's fairly simple to create new textures. I actually started the texure map for the pinky red and white Superflo car lastnight.

Good point Paul. Though I'm not sure if this one will get RC treatment? But those fins are angled so as they sweep back, they come close to meeting eachother.

Yeah, can't say I'm keen on that design mate. LOL! :D More done on the car yesterday. Those wing fins took a long time to get right. I think they still need tweaking?
