    hydrocal problem

I am with Don on this one- But one test is to feel the powered hydrocal, it should feel like corn starch- not like corn meal. If it has absorbed any water (mostiture) it will feel like corn meal or like granulated sugar. If it has, it will not setup. Take it back and have the LHS show you how...

    Converting to DCC

If you don't feel comfortable in doing the work yourself, I would have at least one locomotive done by someone else. When you get it back, and it runs, take the shell off and see what was involved in getting the locomotive DCC equiped. You might find that you can or can not do what you see what...

OK. Now I need to know the controller layout. You said that there were three terminals- Right? one common-one X and one Y. Heljan Turntable Wiring

I still don't know what you are trying to hook up? Power to the tracks on the bridge of the turntable? Or power to make the motor run that turns the TT? Got any photos? Need to see what the switch looks like- should be able to help you if I have more information.:thumb:

    Heljan Turntable Wiring

Sounds like your controller is for a turnout. Common is the power in and the X and Y is for the differant coils on the turnout. Got a photo of your controller? You should only need two wires to your turntable. Or are you talking about the power to the motor that turns the turntable? Some photos...
