Got this idea to make a 3D skeleton warrior for Blendermarket Argonauts-ish but not direct style copy Probably clear by now that I like to loosen up the start of a project with a few sketches so I scribbled these bony swordsmen over some gesture poses. Must make more time for drawing...

Got a realtimne 3D version - ON SKETCHFAB A few renders for BlenderMarket. Had a few sales on the hand but not expecting many (if any) for the foot. That's OK as it's part of a larger project

Added to Sketchfab with a little animation, textures via Krita. Figured it was time to stop messing about with this daft fish and get back to the Human skeleton I was making. Tasteful colours? Nah not my style! REALTIME 3D VERSION HERE! (best viewed full screen)

Had no time for this lately, managed to squeeze a couple of hours in yesterday for sculpty stuff. Made a stencil image to make the body scales, dragged the sculpting brush on a subtract setting to put grooves in fins.

Should be do-able but I'm easily distracted. Here's a doodle to demonstrate the point :) Colour-in or 3D model? Maybe both What sounds better- Ugly fish dude or Ugly dude fish?

Thanks for the kind comments guys, hands are complex so I thought it'd be good to get them done first. Vertebrae and feet a little bit daunting though. Nah it'll be fun really! :)

Finally got the hand bones model on BlenderMarket Here's a couple of realtime 3D demos I put on Sketchfab 3D Hand bones on Sketchfab (link) Bone names 'infographic version' (link) The one was originally vertical format but I shuffled it about for a better widescreen fit More Sketchfab...

Got the control rig working, it poses OK. Bones are pretty straightforward as there's no deformation required Some renders for the shop gallery

    Homemade tools and organizers.

Love the organisers, never occurred to me how good cardboard could be for this kind of thing. I'm terrible at saving packaging, must try harder from now on!

Seeing as my skull model is the only one of my items that seems to sell on BlenderMarket, I’m going to have a go at a decent quality 3D human skeleton. This’ll probably take me a while, can't say how long. Making the vertebrae will probably task my attention span to the limit (still have...

Wanted to get this on Sketchfab earlier but I've had a shocking cold, doesn't take much to knock me down these days :). Baby Rudolph Christmas scene on Sketchfab Couldn't match the fur specular as well as I wanted. Maybe if I could focus, anyway this'll do Wrestled with sketchfab's...

The circular eye highlights are a fake. Not real reflections but a mesh that hugs the eyeball and rotates to point at a controller (the star shaped wireframe controllers in the screengrab in post #350). The same controller can also be scaled to fade the highlight in/out. This is mostly due to...

I'll try to get the files organised to submit Rudi to a couple of 3D asset sites this weekend. Been prepping gallery images and writing 'blurb', this is some of what I'm going with though the text will probably change Just going to call this one 'Happy Rudolph' Just to show the...

Sorry for the late reply, yes Acrylics seemed the best option, I'd still like to improve my technique with them if I ever get the chance again. In other news I think I've got this year's Christmas card sorted :)
