    Airwolf Beta builders wanted

Thanks Jim and Amazyah. This is the last test build. Fortunately there are only a few minor details that need to be corrected. The model will be released as a free download on perhaps four sites. Nobi has agreed to host it Modelincard has his own webpage and another member has expressed...

    Airwolf Beta builders wanted

Almost done Just a few more pieces to put together have Alex do the final tweaks, finish the instructions, and she's ready. So here are the latest pics in no particular order. I apologize for the out of focus pics and for the sloppy build but I have at least been paid...

    Airwolf Beta builders wanted

Just thought I'd let you all know what scale the model is, right now it's about1/32.6. I just scaled it to the size I thought would fit best on letter sized paper so I guess I did pretty good as 1/33 seems to be the standard large scale in card modeling. The fuselage is approx. 15.5 in. in...

    Airwolf Beta builders wanted

Here is some more progress. There are more pics that I'm sure you would like to see but I can't get my computer to work, so here is the one I did manage to get right. Well I managed another maybe I'll get the hang of it one of these days. For all of you who wanted the wolf to have teeth...

    Airwolf Beta builders wanted

No the project was never dead just in the hands of busy people who did their best to get it done with limited time. I hope the finished product turns out okay cause if there's a weak link it's me.

    Airwolf Beta builders wanted

This is still technically a beta build since I'm seeing if it all works out okay and I didn't want to start a new thread. Just thought I'd give a preview of what's coming. You'll note if you look carefully that the glare on the windscreen (my one contribution to the paint job) doesn't...

    Grumman F4F "Wildcat" available

I know I've seen a post by Bowdenja with a picture of Nobi's C-130 and he seemed to like it a lot. It looked like a very good model but I wouldn't expect anything less than that from Nobi. By the way Nobi I really like the way your F4F looks. I probably won't buy it but then again I rarely...

    'Using Rhinoceros' Discussion Thread

I'll just add my two cents on the whole tutorial thing. I was in the same boat when I first got Rhino. I didn't know jack about it and I'll admit the thought crossed my mind that I might have made a mistake in purchasing it but I've offered it my time, frustration, and curses and it's turned...

    'Using Rhinoceros' Discussion Thread

cplane usage One of the ways that I have used them is to align the cplane with the plane of one of the formers that I wanted to work on. Say for example the shape of a former wasn't quite right so I aligned the cplane with former and then I can draw the outline the way I want. I don't know if...

    'Using Rhinoceros' Discussion Thread

I've designed room into the model so that if you decided to add the details the wings could fold but I haven't done anything other than that.

    'Using Rhinoceros' Discussion Thread

The Bell 222 3view I'm using for Airwolf came from a site similar to airwar.ru but the plans for the corsair came from the Detail and Scale F4U Corsair Vol 1 book. I laboriously measured and and drew the whole thing into Acad(before I had Rhino). It took me over a year to get the model to...
