Just got home after hurricane Florence

Sorry for no post recently. Had to evacuate from the beach and head for Martinsville, VA for a week. Just got back home today. With the flooding I probably won't get into town for at least another week. Hwy 9, 3 miles from our house is under 10 to 15 feet of water for over 3 miles for all 4...

Can anyone convert a PDO file to PDF for me?

My problem is I don't have a PC to use right now. And I've never figured out an easy way to use PDO tools on a Macbook. I did download the PDO tools for Mac and will try it.

Can anyone convert a PDO file to PDF for me?

Thanks for the offer Rhaven Blaack. My wife's PC is giving her problems and I'm afraid to mess with it until she has it checked. I've done it before when the computer wasn't messing up. Its a nice looking model.

Can anyone convert a PDO file to PDF for me?

I wasn't sure where to post this. I found several downloads for the Spiderman Iron Spider figure model. Everyone I downloaded was an RAR file and would not decompress. They all errored out. I finally found a PDO file but I don't have a computer right now that will open it. Is it too much to ask...

    Old dilapidated tram

That is too COOL! I like the weathered effect. What do you use for the weathering? I've got an idea for an action figure display of the Joker's Haunted or Deserted Carnival.

    GALACTICA 6551: A fan-made virtual 2nd season of BSG by Revell-Fan

Check this video out. The lady makes a Humpty Dumpty out of home made clay, a balloon, coat hanger, and cardboard. She uses a blender, scrap cardboard, water, and Elmer's Glue. Blend the scrap cardboard in hot water, drain, strain, squeeze the blended material to remove most of the water, add 4...

    GALACTICA 6551: A fan-made virtual 2nd season of BSG by Revell-Fan

I decided it was too expensive for me to get into. After all the years I worked as a freelance graphic designer learned to work on little to no budget. I try to make most of my stuff from recycled materials. Just found out how to take corrugated cardboard scraps and make paper clay out of it.

    GALACTICA 6551: A fan-made virtual 2nd season of BSG by Revell-Fan

I've been checking into it but it looks like a steep learning curve. Plus from what I can find out it can take over 24 hours to print one figure. But I'm still researching.

    GALACTICA 6551: A fan-made virtual 2nd season of BSG by Revell-Fan

I just read your episode one. Very nice work. I enjoyed it. Did you ever make a download version? I didn't see it or episode 6 in the downloads. I finally found the photos of the custom Boomer action figure. Its nicely done but doesn't look exactly like him. Another project if I ever learn 3D...

    GALACTICA 6551: A fan-made virtual 2nd season of BSG by Revell-Fan

I've been in the middle of re-reading a couple of pulp series. After I finish the current one I'll have to take the time to read all of your stories. The hardest thing with the action figure books would be the time making all of the figures since I don't own a set. They would almost all have to...

    GALACTICA 6551: A fan-made virtual 2nd season of BSG by Revell-Fan

I saw a photo on Facebook of a custom "Boomer" action figure, complete with removable Viper helmet. If I find it again I'll post it. I'm a retired commercial artist/graphic designer who makes custom movie set and comic book displays for action figures. If you want to get into the action figure...

    GALACTICA 6551: A fan-made virtual 2nd season of BSG by Revell-Fan

Revell-Fan have you ever thought of an action figure comic version? Paper model props, vehicles, and movie sets, using action figures posed and photographed. This guy does some great ones for comic book characters. http://www.billscomics.com

Zathros is out of commision for now.

John so glad you and the family are OK. Nice that you found someone to help you with the cleanup. Sorry I haven't posted sooner. We were in the process of moving to a new home and I got hit with two kidney stones. All over now and I'm trying to set up an area so I can get back to building models...

Has anyone seen a paper model of a Plymouth Prowler?

If I wasn't in fall leaf mode at my home and my late mother's house I might think about it. We are also getting our home ready to sell and packing up and selling off stuff to move to a new home at the beach. So much stuff going on I can't even think about getting into something else. I do enjoy...

Has anyone seen a paper model of a Plymouth Prowler?

Thanks Gandolf50. At 65 I think I'm too late to learn 3D and its hard to unfold on a MacBook. Been a commercial artist too long I guess. I love to build, kit bash, and I will do recolor/repaints. I had a thought about using a paper model as a start for a Phantom of the Opera HotRod kit bash.
