    Building my own x-wing

Improvisations are welcomed :) I guess the cannons must be pretty heavy.

    Building my own x-wing

Beware, the laser mainly rests on the part W36 (using CA glue might be a good idea), the W37 parts are slightly on the side and help to fix the cannon in a straight line - so it's 4 connection points in total. I'm attaching a pic to to illustrate this. And yes, this really should have been in...

    Building my own x-wing

That Arduino board is so tiny compared to the engine that it looks quite funny :D

    Building my own x-wing

Is that the whole code? There are no no ending curly brackets  for the loop() function nor the while() block. And the #define looks unfinished. If I had to guess... int red = 11; //this sets the red led pin int green = 10; //this sets the green led pin int blue = 9; //this sets the blue led pin...

Thin paper, tweezers and toothpicks can do the trick ;) Looks like you did well on the engines.

Try to fold it around a sharp edge, I usually use some rulers to get a nice fold. If you need some help with instructions, PM me, I'll see what I can do.

    Building my own x-wing

I guess it's about 1/16 when going from A4 to A1. Massive! Also nice work on the cockpit and the droidplate, you're progressing quite quickly :)

    Building my own x-wing

Good luck with it! The nose-cone is probably the most complicated part to shape on the whole fuselage, after that it should be easier. Did you considered using wood instead of metal? Should be much easier to work with.

    V-Wing found

Indeed... It haven't appeared anywhere else, so those who didn't play the game would hardly know about it. Aerodynawhat? :D

    X-wing Red 2 / 1:48 / Imcold

Unluckily the (public) photos don't show the filming models from all the angles, so for some areas, we can only guess (bottom of red 1, for example).

Yes, there are. I'll release more variants later. One per year should suffice ;)

    Help with X-wing

Bamboo/wooden sticks are a good substitute for small diameter tubes. Or carbon rods, if you want to go high-tech :)

    X-wing Red 2 / 1:48 / Imcold

Well, that will be bigger by almost 1/3 compared to studio scale, that's scary :D You'll have to do some serious reinforcing & it's probably a good idea to seal the paper with some sort of lacquer to prevent warping by moisture before you even start working with it. The wings are...

    X-wing Red 2 / 1:48 / Imcold

I recommend 100-120gsm paper (~0.15mm thick). The parts that need to be thicker have the recommended thickness marked next to their part number (mostly).

Zahtros: I certainly hope so! MTK: If you do, could you please let me know if they print out fine? I don't have any printer of that format to test it on cblf49: It's fixed now, thanks for the heads-up!
