"Detailed" Buck Rogers "QUAD" Thunder Fighter (1:50 scale)

I was going to say running along nicely, so you have to print another cockpit smaller, and a another ship bigger. Just a feeble excuse to get two builds into one thread... "ha-ha!"

    Der Glaskasten

Beautiful, just adding primer brings the whole thing together... As to 'INVICTA' she is the real deal, not a reproduction

    Y-WING BUILD - Construction continues...

Cheers and thank you... all down to personal choice - even the original filming models were all different, so choosing one nearly comes to rolling a dice.

    Y-WING BUILD - Construction continues...

Nice and Easy does it! Something easy in this update - Just adding some detail parts to the rear vane assembly, which were cut out previously. On the CGI file these are one piece affairs, but on the sheet they are in two parts. Also a decision needs to made as to whether you add one or two...

    Y-WING BUILD - Construction continues...

Post of the Day... I shall hold my head high, and strut like a cockerel... Thanks for the praise, and a fitting comparison, as the engines used on the studio Y-wing models for Star Wars used the Airfix Saturn V if I'm not mistaken Thanks, and it came to me in my sleep, trying to find a...

Engine Domes Time to fit the domes to the front of the engine pods. Where the white portion of the pod enters the printed part, there is a grey line all the way round to give you a stopping point for the ribbed band to stop at. A dry fit showed a slightly tight fit - and looking at the...
