I had both the DL-44 and the Blaster rifle, and loved them. But I was 12 or 13, and played with them heavily. My dad was Base security so, they kinda turned a blind eye as long as we didn't do nothin crazy.

Hi all, For those who may be interested, I found this video on YouTube of a guy building and painting the old Monogram Buck Rogers Starfighter. Video link here Hi does a bang up job of painting and weathering the model.

Paper and card modeling is what brought me to this forum. I think it was the Thunderfighter from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century that I saw and wanted. Now I just have to get my printer replaced, so I can build it again.

You have to look at these real hard to even tell they are not real, much less paper and card. Great work

Stanchions can be made from wire, Bits of stretched plastic, even turned toothpicks. Same for gun barrels and antennae. other bits get harder, just use what looks and feels right.

I too use whatever works, currently looking for the thinnest single ply toilet tissue to use on my Millennium Falcon model. My wife just rolls her eyes when I bring a roll home
