    Let's give this one ago! This is the 1:400 Redraw of the Clever Santoro Bird of Prey. I have a card copy of the 1:400 and a paper copy of the original and its instructions. I'll try and match the new parts to thier old part reference so I can use the instructions as a bit of a guide!

    I did a dry fit of the Sphere and Secondary Hull. They did not join well so I have to make lots of little cuts to the 'neck' to allow a better join. I then connected the unfinished sphere to the secondary hull I'm glad I did it before completing the sphere. I found that it helped being...

    As I often find, when building a saucer (or sphere) miss alignments happen and the bits don't fit together properly. I trimmed about 2mm from part 7 (picture 2) to allow the sphere to join properly and there not be a huge gap

    Lower sphere You can see in the pictures, I added internal tabs to stop the lowest part of the dome falling thru when gluing. The tabs were made of paper that had been printed grey to also helped block any gaps.

    Staring to create Sphere of primary Hull Stared with papers 20-22 to make a disc with a blue front. That disc is attached to parts 9 and 10. With the grey facing in towards each other. I also wrote top and bottom on incase I forget!
