Ok, I started Striker Eureka from the movie Pacific Rim over the weekend.
Let us just set the mood first....

the template is from paper-replika, and as usual for Julius' work, a very nice template to work with!
I started with the recessed parts which came together nicely
The I attached the flanks and the upper part of the chest to those pieces;
And stuck them together!
The lower part of the chest was then attached, then the back

Then, I managed to drop my knife into the body :banghead: while trying to knock out a dent which resulted in some "open surgery" (i.e.: cutting open the back) to get my knife out.
I didn't have the camera nearby while I was building the head, but, here is the completed head attached
I'm going to see how it looks before I choose how much greebling (if any) I do
