Thanks for the flowers as we used to say in my old CB radio days, I have a felling this is going to be like the Optimis Prime that was posted on Paper Replika a while back in page count, there are 23 pages for the head alone but that's done except for rearranging the parts and renumbering the pages so everything is in order. Right now I'm working on the neck area, specifically I'm working on the mouth, right now I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to light the speech lights, what I'll probably do is make it an option like I did the eyes, I do have a way to make it talk and say 5 different things so all I would need to build is an LED VU meter for the mouth, so onward and upward.

This is mind-boggling! Thank you for posting these pics, skoda. slee, don't worry about the parts count. It is more important that the model looks the way you want it to. If it needs 23 pages, so be it - I will definitely be spending so much paper for a top-notch Johnny 5! :)

Skoda, another member who's prolific design and building boggles the mind! I loved this movie when it came out. If I knew how to do Pepakura, I'd make an Ally Sheedy to go along with it. ;)

Still plugin away here are more previews, of course this is just a small sampling. Right now I'm working on the neck, shoulders, & upper torso, I'm trying to decide whether or not to go with the tool box or the laser or just try to make it an interchangeable option.

Okay suddenly I'm having trouble uploading attachments??????

I just tested it, and everything is working properly.
If you continue to have problems, please send me a PM with a full description as to what messages you are getting and I will look into it (and pass this on to IT if need be.

I figured out what was happening, for some reason the open file box is not showing on top of my browser I had to minimize the browser to find it looks like Firefox is hiccuping again.

Why not create two versions for both laser so that Krinke
whether he can choose what he wants

Oh my gosh, PLEASE do two versions! :D Also, would it be too much trouble to put in the parts to make the coverings that were lost in the first film? The ones that were on the head mostly that made him look like his military brethren. And having Numbers 1-5 would be awesome, too. :)

I decided to make the tool box and laser interchangeable. I had looked at trying to do the extra coverings to make him look original, still might try but one has a lot of rounded areas to reproduce, I'm also trying to find a scale handkerchief, for that I plan to look at doll supply websites or craft stores. This thing could wind up costing 11,002076 dollars and 17 cents.

This is what I would do. :)

As for the fiddly rounded parts you may consider to make them with laminations.

BTW, I am SOOOO thrilled seeing your new parts pages. This model is wanted soooo much and if you do it right (which I assume you are doing ;) ) you would not only close a huge gap in the list of wanted models ever but leave a HUGE impact in the WHOLE model building community (paper, plastic, whatever ;) ).
