So starting this one before I tackle anything else. Its a 5x bigger Gundam piece that I've wanted to build for a while now. Lots of detail on it so should look awesome. Its also in the area of papercraft size I excel at.

Thanks! Not sure on the scale. I believe it will stand well over 6ft possibly 6.5. There's so much work to do its crazy.
Works out to around nearly 400 pages of A4. The old printer will be busy lol.
 
Started work on the shoulders now. Want the arms to move freely but with all the weight that will be put on them from the arms, not sure how its going to turn out.

What is the thickness of card-stock that you are using for such, and what did you use for reinforcement on the main support structure?

With that being said, I have always wanted to do a model for a robot or figure (at this size), but I am not certain which one I really want to make at the moment (Not only that, but I really do not have the room for such a model either :().

Thanks!! I'm using 250gsm paper with cardboard reinforcement inside. The lower part of the leg have been filled with expanding foam. Light and strong stuff.
Its the first time I ever built a gundam, so in my future builds I now have a much better idea of how to build at a large scale.
As epic as this is, I still hunger to build something even more massive.

Well I want to do the Sulaco, but it will cost a ton of cash to build, more than the gundam for sure.
The Sulaco PDFS need to printed on A1 ideally.
Skodas work was fantastic but far too small for my liking. I love the impact my work makes on people.
When they see it and say... how the F££K did you make that? and..... its made from paper!!
