Well, after a big schedule cluster____, I've finally been able to get back to my usual topics, instead of doing pony models for the Brony community.

This time around, it's Francesco Lana de Terzi's Vacuum Airship (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vacuum_airship)

Here's a general orthographic I've drawn up:

and some of the parts:

And, for the first time, I'll be livestreaming myself designing the model! The stream will start at around eight, but I'll probably get things rolling by the time I've posted the message.

Darn irt, I missed it. You know how large the file size is? I think these would make a great asset. I wonder if there is someway to archive these. Maybe even here. I don't know if that is possible, but there is nothing better seeing someone make something. It stimulates all manner of though, i.e "Great Job!", "I could do it this way" etc. I am thinking this is more and more. You could probably get community cable time!

Hahah, Community Cable! Imagine that! Well, I'm probably not going to be livestreaming again for some time; didn't go as well as expected--but hey, what can ya do?

Anyways, second page is done; have some instructions!

Extremely good work. I find you inspiring and with such a positive attitude. I thank you for that. It is well appreciated by many!! :)

Me? Inspiring, positive attitude? Hah, tell that to my friends!

But in all seriousness, you don't know how much that means to me. 's good to know that what I'm doing makes a difference (more or less) in at least one person's life

It does make a difference. There are a group of people, of which you are part, which hold this place together. That means a real lot. There are a lot of assets here, and the loss of this forum wold be a loss for all. So my hats off to you for you constant participation and your generous offers. I really mean that too! :)

I wonder if he ever tried to make small spheres. Their lack of flight might have given him some more insight as to why it wouldn't work, but he could have made a really safe boat!!

Wow!
How cool is this!
Thanks for the wiki link too.
I had never heard of this concept.
It would be awesome if it had worked.
Nice looking model.
